Transparent Film Adhesive Dressing is a sterile, hypoallergenic, conformable, post operative surgical dressing with a central absorbent and non adherent pad that helps in moist wound healing and painless dressing removal. This dressing is breathable, waterproof, low maintenance and acts as a bacterial and viral barrier thus protecting against infections.
Application:This is used to provide protection for closed, clean surgical wounds, incisions, excisions, donor sites, etc. which have low to moderate exudates. It can also be used as a secondary dressing over hydrogels, alginates, gauze or other primary dressings or as a tracheostomy tube dressing, catheter/cannula site cover.
Features:- Microbial Barrier: Bacterial and Viral barrier to prevent surgical site infections
- Waterproof: Waterproof barrier which allows patients to bathe or shower without removing the dressing
- Highly absorbent pad: Dressing consists of a highly absorbent pad that maximizes passage of blood and exudate into the dressing, minimizes the risk of fluid strikethrough
- Conformable: Conformable to adjust to natural shape of skin
- Low adherent wound contact layer: The pad has a low adherent wound contact layer which minimises disruption or trauma to the underlying tissue on removal of the dressing, reducing the risk of pain on removal
- Breathability: Breathable film allows skin to function normally with good exchange of moisture vapor and oxygen
- Rounded corners: Rounded corners on the dressing aid in reduction of the risk of dressing lifting or snagging, which may reduce the frequency of dressing change by maintaining an optimal dressing condition
- Easy to apply: The protector paper, which is slit across the width of the dressing, enables quick application without the risk of touching the absorbent pad or adhesive area with fingers or forceps. Easily openable packaging facilitates clean dressing technique
- Hypoallergenic adhesive: The hypoallergenic adhesive is spread evenly onto the non-woven backing layer of the dressing, providing safe and secure fixation over the wound site
- Please consult the physician for any allergic responses of the patient
- Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing
- Do not stretch the dressing during application as tension can cause skin trauma
- Make sure the skin is clean, free of soap residue and lotion, and allowed to dry thoroughly before applying the dressing to prevent skin irritation and to ensure good adhesion
- Do not use it if the packaging has been tampered with. Use of an un-sterile product may lead to infection or injury. Do not re-sterilize

Non-woven Adhesive Dressing is a sterile, hypoallergenic, post operative, conformable adhesive dressing consisting of a breathable soft cloth backing with a central non-adherent absorbent pad. This is an all-in-one, sterile, cost effective dressing for wounds. This conforms well to body contours.

Plaster of Paris Bandage consists of a bleached, cotton gauze impregnated evenly with Calcium Sulphate which has been dehydrated to comprise of hemihydrates, with added adhesives and setting-time modifiers as per requirement. It is reasonably free from loose power.
P.O.P. Bandage less than 5 meters long is joint free. Bandages longer than 5 meters are manufactured using a medical grade adhesive and are not sewn together.
